Fusebox has an exciting and unique opportunity for 20 locals to participate in a free workshop lead by Brooklyn-based choreographer, luciana achugar on Sat 28 Feb and Sun March 1.
The invitation is open to those with a connection to the arts in any medium: theatre, dance, music, voice, literature, visual art or otherwise, whether formal or informal. The workshop will be movement and voice based but does not require that the participants have formal training, and it explores ways of being more connected to our sensorial selves and more connected to pleasure.
Following the workshop there may be an additional opportunity to work with luciana during the 2015 Fusebox Festival between March 28–April 5.
If you are interested and available on the workshop and festival dates, please contact email@example.com to register your interest and for further information by January 30, 2015.

We will practice being in pleasure and giving our bodies a voice. A practice of growing a new body, as one would grow a plant; a utopian body; a sensational body; a connected body; an anarchic body; a body full/filled with pleasure, with love and with magic…………. with a brain that melted down to the flesh, the bones, the guts, the skin... and with eyes that see without naming and see without knowing.
