There Might Be Others.
Choreography By Rebecca Lazier
In Collaboration With The Performers
Fri & Sat – 10pm / Sun – 5:30pm
There Might Be Others is loosely based on the aleatoric score and performer instructions for Terry Riley’s In C. Dancers begin with 21 set movement modules and follow a set of rules to compose the piece in performance. Performers include Sernaz Demirel, Pierre Guilbault, Cori Kresge, Vincent McCloskey, Christopher Ralph, Anna Schon and Tan Temal. No two performances will be the same.
Rebecca Lazier, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Juilliard alum, choreographs for a project-based group of dancers and teaches at Princeton University. Lazier’s work has been performed in many New York venues including Danspace Project, The Kitchen, the Guggenheim Museum, 92nd Street Y, Joyce SoHo, and Movement Research at the Judson Church.
